Abstract

This study presents a checklist of amphibian and reptile species from a Cerrado area in the municipality of Minaçu, Goiás, central Brazil. Data were obtained during fauna rescue operations conducted during the construction of an access road for a mining enterprise. A total of 14 amphibian and 45 reptile species were recorded across three distinct phytophysiognomies (Mata Seca, Mata de Galeria, and Mata Ciliar) and an anthropogenic area characterized by pastures. In addition to the inventory, data on species richness and similarity among these four environments are presented.
